Let’s Do This!
If you’re ready to get started on your journey, you’re in the right place! If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the video below to learn more about The Nourished Path and what its like to actually have support and accountability! Transparency is one of our values at The Nourished Path, and I try to be as clear as possible with what is included and what support you’ll get from us on your weight loss journey. This FAQ is a big part of that - but if you have any other questions that I didn’t answer I’m an open book and we can talk about those!
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Each week you will check in with your coach. This is done through The Nourished Path app, where you will answer a few targeted questions about how the week has gone and what challenges are coming up.
Your coach will reply with a video that you can watch (and rewatch), so you don’t need to make an appointment every week. This video will answer questions, give recommendations, and goals for the next week so you’re always moving forward but not feeling overwhelmed.
Between those checkins, you’ll chat with your coach through our in app messaging system so you’re never alone, its like having your coach in your pocket!
-
Yes we do! We work with expecting/breastfeeding moms, busy professionals, those looking to improve their gym performance/health, people with PCOS, diabetes, hypothyroid and more! Our all female coaching team are RD’s and/or have their masters in nutrition, so you’re in the hands of an expert.
You’ll also see much of what we discuss is weight loss. However we can also help with healthy weight gain during pregnancy as well as muscle gain.
We do not, however, prescribe medications for blood sugar, thyroid, or hormonal imbalances, and recommend seeing a doctor
We also do not specialize in eating disorder recovery, but if you have a history of ED we can discuss if this is the right fit for you. If that’s you - please click here to give me a bit more background and we can hop on a call.
-
Of course not! We give you the tools, education, and personal feedback necessary to make your own choices for your lifestyle. We believe that you should be able to walk away and be able to decide what to eat without the stress of a meal plan. You’ll also practice and learn how to eat your favorite foods in moderation.
You will get many, many examples of what a day might look like. but the idea here is for you to be able to learn what works for you and not someone else, and incorporate foods you love into a healthy life! That’s how you sustain your results for good (which is our goal for you!)
-
We can’t guarantee any specific results, but a rule of thumb for weight loss is to look for 0.5-1% body weight lost per week. Too much faster and what is lost tends to come from muscle instead of fat!
Note - if you need to lose over 40 or 50 lbs, often the body needs a break at a certain point. We can talk more about that when it gets closer, but its good to know in advance.
After you’ve lost the fat, it’s then important to re-invigorate your metabolism! This is a step many people miss - but when you lose weight (even in a healthy, sustainable way like we do here) your body thinks that there’s a famine and will hold onto whatever fat it can! We can avoid this by moving from fat loss to maintenance a bit slower, in a purposeful metabolic reboot. We call this “Phase 2” and its a vital step!
-
What kind of support did you have? Were you trying to do it alone, or maybe with just a fitness trainer?
Did you have an educated coach guiding you to the right goals and keeping you accountable?
Did your coach CARE about you as a person, or were you just a number on their roster?
It’s amazing what personal connection can do. It can stop an eating spiral at the start. Planning for weekends and events beforehand makes a world of difference. You’ll be surprised at how far you can go if you make sure you are supported and not alone.
Did you follow your fat loss phase with the vital metabolic reboot phase, and the often skipped lifestyle integration phase? After you lose weight, there’s an important transition to maintaining that weight loss for life. Many coaches skip this, and it causes the yo-yo diet cycle to continue. We don’t want that for you.
-
Don’t worry - I have TONS of resources walking you through what macros are, and what to do with them. You’ll also have the guidance of your coach who is with you every step of the way, plus our super supportive community who will cheer you on! I would recommend setting aside a bit of time in the first 1-2 weeks to learn some new information and skills.
-
You’re the only one who can answer that question. In reality, you need 3-4 hours a week on planning, prepping, & tracking your foods, and checking in with your coach. And its not like you spend zero time on these tasks right now - its just framing it differently.
The first week or two might be a bit more as you learn, and you might need more cooking time if you prefer more elaborate meals. But, on the whole, you’re looking at less than 3% of your week spent on your health, nutrition and weight loss goals.
Let that sink in. Less than 3% of your time.
You are worth every minute of that time. And more.
And with the right guidance, you can eliminate all the work you’re putting into things that aren’t getting you results and focusing in on the what really matters for long term progress. So you’ll actually save time and make more progress, all at once.

Our most popular choice is the 6 month personal nutrition coaching. Why?
Because, for most people, 12 weeks is not long enough to lose weight, and also make sure that weight loss is maintained. It’s also not quite long enough to firmly establish new habits.
6 months really gives us the time we need to truly transform!
-
In nutrition coaching, we focus mostly on your nutrition! Your coach will, however, help you set basic fitness goals and help keep you accountable to completing your workouts. So if you know what you need to be doing for your workouts and need help with follow through and accountability, that’s covered.
But if you want to go beyond that with custom workout programing, with workouts designed specifically for your goals, equipment availability and more, then you want to choose the nutrition + fitness plan.
-
Most coaches will try to hold this information hostage, but transparency is important to us, and that isnt our style!
Personal 1-1 weekly nutrition coaching + personal workout programming:
3390 for 6 months or 1695 for 12 weeks
Personal 1-1 weekly nutrition coaching (most popular option)
1995 for 6 months or 995 for 12 weeks. That’s about $80 a week

First, click the “apply” link to set up a call with me, where we will go over any questions you have!
Once you’re ready to go, you’ll create your account and go to paypal to submit payment (you do not need a paypal account). You’ll then get an email with your app login details! We also have a browser option if you’d prefer that.
You’ll see the intake form, which is really going to help you set your goals for your journey with us. Soon after that you’ll meet your coach and start to get to know her! You’ll get started tracking what you already eat in My Fitness Pal so your coach can establish a baseline before you get your initial goals.
In just a few days, you’ll receive those initial goals, including calorie and macro targets and the program really begins!
In about a week, you’ll have a welcome call with your coach. We set it up that way so that you can try the program first, and bring any questions you have come up with!

Yes, of course you can. We don’t have a magic wand or special foods to sell you. There are no magic wands, and the special foods either don’t work at all or don’t work for long.
But ask yourself - how has going it alone worked so far? Often we need support to make progress in life - that can be a teacher helping you learn math, your mom teaching you to cook, or a group fitness class keeping you accountable to exercise.
There’s so much information out there - what’s actually important for you to apply? How can you stay accountable to following through? Odds are if you are reading this right now, you know that what you’re doing now isn’t working and you need support.

A dietitian has their degree in nutrition, does a year residency, and then takes a difficult exam to become licensed. Continuing education is then required to keep the credential.
A nutritionist does not need to have any kind of license or education.
Most nutrition and weight loss coaches took a 4-8 week nutrition course, and that’s it. That’s one big reason there’s so much misinformation!
Our team all have degrees in nutrition, and most are also registered dietitians on top of that.
The 3 of us have a combined 30 years of experience. You’re in expert hands!

Yes indeed we do! Men have their own unique set of challenges, and we can help you get there! We’ve have worked with couples like Claire and Conner, as well as young men like Kameron, dad’s like Charles, and distinguished gentlemen like my own father who lost 40 lbs at 62 years young!
Ready to take that next step to a happier, healthier and better looking future you?
It can be a bit scary, but all great decisions in life are.
